Tim Papiernik ‘15 has been running the halls of Brother Rice almost since the time he began walking. Tim’s father, Greg ‘76, has only missed a handful of Brother Rice football games over the past 15 years and has missed even fewer Notre Dame games.
Now a senior, Tim has paved his own path as a Brother Rice Crusader. He is currently ranked #4 in his class, holds a 4.77 GPA, and scored a 32 on the ACT test.
In his spare time, Tim is a Crusader golfer, a member of the Scholastic Bowl team, French Honor Society, and a leader for the Edmund Rice Camp. He also has kept the statistics for the varsity basketball team during his time as a student.
Tim has also been a major fundraiser at alumni golf outings since he was a freshman, beginning with Beat the Freshman and continuing through Beat the Senior, on a par 3, where he challenged, and sometimes taunted, alumni to Closer-to-the-Pin contests. He is such a good sport that alumni would give money even on the rare occasion when they shot the ball closer than Tim.
Tim has applied for the Evans Scholarship and will attend Notre Dame in the Fall.
Throughout his four years at Brother Rice, Tim Papiernik has been an example of how to “Act Manfully in Christ Jesus” and continues to represent Brother Rice as a true leader
